FT trader/investor for past 3 years. Previously worked for two decades as a business strategy consultant. More broadly: I'm a militant eclectic, but a pacifist of the heart. I'm non-judgmental, yet very discriminating. I delight in playing with language and meaning, while remaining candid and direct. I seek many acquaintances, but only a select few close friends. I also firmly believe that the best way to learn your way around is to get lost a few times. I have an insatiable curiousity and I like variety and new challenges. I am interested in the creative spark, the metamorphosis of ideas and the human spirit. I enjoy the outdoors (hiking, kayaking, biking, running, etc.) and love music (especially classical and jazz.) For my creative side, I take photographs, post on my blog in order to satisfy a persistent hyperlinking fetish, and write an occasional short story. I read in periodic bursts of activity, and am always looking for suggestions on interesting new authors. In my spare time I am storyboarding The Revenge of Wylie Coyote, a home movie. Useless trivia: I once broke the world pogo stick jumping record without knowing it.
