I spent a number of years working in the banking industry focusing primarily on project finance and for a time mezzanine lending. When I discovered that I was a pretty good banker but a very bad player of company politics, I struck out on my own and ended up in real estate, primarily on the financial side of the business. My educational background includes degrees in economics and international business.
I started writing a blog in March 2008 at the behest of a real estate company with which I do some work. Their recent new web site design did not include a blog and I found that I had been become addicted to blogging. So here I am after bouncing around trying to find the right platform back to blogging.
I tend to write about things that interest me and generally that has something to do with finance, real estate, politics to the extent it applies to the economy and trends that I think might have more of a long term impact.
