Dr. Viren Konde holds PhD in Molecular Biology. He has worked as a
postdoctoral researcher in India (Center for Cellular & Molecular
Biology, Hyderabad and University of Pune) and abroad (Centre National
de la Recherche Scientifique, Marseille, France and University of
Houston, Texas, USA). His interests are biotech/biopharma industry
analysis and biotech trends review.
He has extensively worked in the areas of molecular neurobiology and
bacteriology. He has also presented and published papers in the national
and international conferences & meetings. His recent paper on
Biotechnology in India: Public-private partnerships published in the
Journal of Commercial Biotechnology (January 2008, issue 1) is available
online

Presently, he writes and guides for subjects like the business of
biotechnology and bioinformatics at the postgraduate level.
