About YCharts
Shawn has been an active investor for over 15 years. He developed YCharts after getting frustrated by the lack of investment tools focused on fundamental analysis. Shawn spent the last three years at Google, where he led strategy & revenue intelligence efforts for the $350 million Local Vertical. Before Google, he led business development and new product launches for Classified Ventures. In 1998, Shawn founded WallStreetView and raised over $7 million in venture capital to launch one of the first real-time investor portals for individual investors. Shawn holds a BS from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He has been called a “Web Whiz” by Crains and appeared on the “World Business Review” with Alexander Haig and Vinton Cerf.
