--(www.USEquityNews.com)-- 05/27/2008 - Horizon Industries Ltd. (TSXV: HRZ), (Horizon), in partnership with Pan American Production Company (Pan American), announces that a work over rig has been scheduled to move in and commence re-entry procedures at the Cities Services well at the New Waverly Prospect in San Jacinto County, Texas.
The Cities Services well was drilled to a total depth of approximately 11,453 feet, produced from the Wilcox formation and was subsequently abandoned at the end of its production life. The work over rig is expected to arrive within the next seven to ten days.
The New Waverly Prospect comprises approximately 4,200 acres. Exploration potential exists in the Vicksburg/Jackson, Yegua, Cook Mountain, Wilcox, and Woodbine formations. Up to fifty-two shallow wells are proposed to develop the Vicksburg/Jackson formations.
Pan American is an oil and gas production company specializing in low risk oil and gas prospects where opportunity exists to generate high return through production enhancement and application of exploration techniques. Pan American currently holds production and prospects covering approximately 30,000 acres in Texas and is operator of the New Waverly Prospect.
