Coeur d'Alene Mines Corp. (NYSE:CDE) (CDE) Wednesday said it plans to offer $150 million of convertible senior unsecured notes in order to fund the completion of its San Bartolome silver project in Bolivia, as well as to fund construction of its Palmarejo silver and gold project in Mexico.
The Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, mining company said it will grant the underwriters of the proposed offering, Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. and J.P. Morgan Securities Inc., an option to buy up to an additional $22.5 million of notes to cover overallotments.
Deutsche Bank Securities will act as sole book-running manager.
Coeur d'Alene Mines (NYSE:CDE) said the interest rate, conversion premium and other terms of the notes will be determined when the offering is priced.
