Sep. 5--DOYLESTOWN -- The teachers' union at Chippewa Local Schools voted unanimously this morning to authorize its bargaining team to issue a 10-day strike notice.

A strike date has not been set and both sides will meet at noon on Thursday.

The Chippewa Education Association, which represents about 84 certified employees, has been working without a contract since July 1.
