The Andersons Inc. (NASDAQ: ANDE) said Tuesday it recently opened a railcar repair shop on Patriot Rail Corp. property in Ogden, Utah. The Andersons will maintain railcars it manages and those owned by third parties at the shop. The property belongs to Patriot's railroad subsidiary, the Utah Central Railway. In March, The Andersons opened a car-repair shop with Patriot Rail in Anaconda, Mont. The Andersons has interests in agriculture, turf products, railcar leasing and repair, and general merchandise. Shares of The Andersons fell 29 cents to $40.32 in midday trading.
