The next market session will close:

Are you a long-term investor whose portfolio has been decimated by all this market volatility? While many of the adventerous type seek the pot of gold at the end of the China rainbow, you’ve decided that it’s just not you.

And who could could blame you…

We’ve exported our fluff market euphoria over to their terrain and you know what? Pretty soon that deck of cards will come tumbling down as well. I guess it’s all a part of the growing pains a young and vibrant economy faces in it’s early maturation days.

At any rate, why venture into the unknown when there are plenty of opportunities right here in the goold ‘ol U.S.A. I’ve developed a long-term breakout screen that zeroes in on stocks that have either been knocked down or simply caught in a sideways trend — trying to get a lift to the upside.

Once the wheels are in motion it becomes hard not to for instituational investors to ignore. Eventually shares catch fire and give the term high-flyer a whole new meaning.

The stocks I am about to mention have found a way to hold strong in the face of an ugly market. Here’s my very best long-term equity plays. Patience will be key, the reward — limitless.

Willamette Valley Vinyards (WVVI:NASDAQ)

MAXXAM Inc. (MXM:NASDAQ)

Genesee & Wyoming Inc (GWR:NYSE)

World Wrestling Entertainment Inc (WWE:NYSE)

Community Bank System Inc (CBU:NYSE)

Luminex Corp Del (LMNX:NASDAQ)
