Vote for next session
The next market session will close:

Good morning. We're starting out the day with a positive bias amid some restructuring news at General Electric (GE) and a proxy battle at Yahoo! (YHOO). On the economic front, investors didn't show much reaction to a slightly higher than expected jobless claims and a weak empire state manufacturing survey.

Premarket gainers: A, SINA, CNET, GE, YGE, WGOV, SOLF, MPEL, VISN, IDMI, FUQI, CSUN, ESLR, FEED, JASO, ASTI, SOHU, CRVL, ELOS, SSRX, UBET, TSTC, JCP, ITRN, CAAS, ZOLT, TSCM, URBN, KWK, & DRYS.

Premarket losers: CTRP, SSTR, SLRY, PRCP, BRCD, SDTH, PRCP, STV, BCS, GILD, & WAVE.

After the open, we have some second-tier data to deal with including the Philly Fed Survey, Housing Market Index, March net foreign security purchases, and more Fedspeak. With options expiration tomorrow, you already know what to expect - more choppy trading. For today's tells, keep an eye on the technology space since that is where most of the buying interest is centered in premarket.

Have a terrific Thursday!
