Let My Buys Speak for Themselves

The next market session will close:

Too busy researching, and not writing enough.  I’ll let my buys speak for themselves.

I have had some great conversations out of the Water Work I did, with some leading money managers and other retail investors. I ended up buying TTEK, and adding MIL to my ‘pick up on a pull back’ watchlist, CCC  is on that list too as well as a few other names, thanks to Scott, Buck, Howard, and this anonymous soul known only as Mad_Hatter who is doing a great job going through the 13Fs.

I picked up some RIG, should have waited, meh. After I bought into RIG, I found out Boone Pickens top holding is RIG. Also he’s really bullish on Natural Gas and for good reasons, from what I can tell.  I picked up some UNG $3 ago, and would add more below $50 now. I also bought some ITU, as well as some more Sandvine back at $1.20, after I went to the shareholder meeting.   I shorted some puts on FSLR, even though the stock’s valuation is in the stratosphere, I wouldn’t mind owning it around $200, sold those yesterday at the lows…it was working out great for me today.  I got a chance to talk to the CEO of an up and coming wind venture, looking for funding. He’s got a kite pump and he says money is starting to flow in the venture space.  Only a matter of time before the wind stocks do the same as solar.  Solar grid parity is on its way, and when that happens exponential changes are going to unfold in the alternatives energy market.  Stay tuned, I’m on it.
