Late on Tuesday, Redmond, Washington based Concur Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ: CNQR) announced that its fourth-quarter net earnings jumped more than 36% $5.6 million, or 11 cents per share from $4.1 million, or 10 cents a share in the corresponding quarter in 2007.Excluding one time items, the company earned 16 cents per share. Revenue rose 61% to $57.5 million from $35.7 million. Analysts on an average estimated the company to earn 14 cents a share on revenue of $56.6 million. For the full year, the company net earnings doubled to $17.2 million or 35 cents a share from $8.2 million or 20 cents per share during the same period last year. Excluding one items, the company posted a profit of 54 cents per share. Revenue rose 67% to $215.5 million. Commenting on the results, Chief Executive Steve Singh said "New client additions reached an all-time high, with a record number of companies around the globe turning to Concur to help them quickly cut costs and improve operational efficiencies in the face of challenging economic conditions." Shares of Concur Technologies rose 10.45% in extended trading on Tuesday.

Hologic Inc (NASDAQ: HOLX) reported a net loss of $144 million, or 56 cents per share, compared with a profit of $32 million, or 29 cents per share, in the same quarter last year.Net income for the quarter included acquisition-related charges of $200.7 million. Without acquisition-related charges, the company would have posted a profit of 30 cents a share. Revenue more than doubled to $442.5 million in the quarter, which ended Sept. 27, compared with $202.6 million in the same quarter last year. Analysts were looking for earnings of 30 cents a share on $438.6 million in revenue. For the fiscal year 2008, Hologic reported a net loss of $385.6 million, or $1.57 per share, compared with a profit of $94.6 million, or 86 cents per share, in the prior year. Revenue climbed to $1.67 billion from $738.4 million. Shares of Hologic fell over 6% in late trading on Tuesday.

Intrepid Potash, Inc. (NYSE: IPI), today announced third quarter 2008 results with net income of $49.7 million up from $5.4 million on a pro forma comparative basis for the third quarter 2007. The earnings per share for the third quarter of 2008 were $0.66 per share, less than the analyst estimate of $0.73 a share. Revenue for the quarter was $146.26 million. CEO Bob Jornayvaz said in a statement "we believe that our strong balance sheet, cash position, and our sole focus on potash as the fertilizer nutrient with the best overall fundamentals, position us uniquely in the market." Shares of the company plunged 22.92% in after hours trade.

Bob Evan Farms (NASDAQ: BOBE) posted a second quarter net earnings of $11.3 million, or 37 cents per share compared to $15.5 million, or 45 cents per share in the same period a year ago. Revenue increased 2.2% to $435.5 million, on $426.3 million.
