Gotta love Friday afternoon short squeezes, lots of potential plays…remember my EVC trade a little while back, if you can find shares to short, sometimes you gotta be quick in the morning, even if I sent out an alert, it’d be nearly meaningless since it’d be too late…ideally, they’ll spike in the morning and fade in the afternoon, but that’s barely a possibility, most will either tank too quickly or tank within the first hour…
You can do 2 things to improve your odds of playing these correctly a.) read through 1,000 or so blog posts of mine and see how to play these all-too-common morning panics b.) save time and energy and get everything summed up nicely in my PennyStocking Part Deux DVD, which has nearly an hour of slides/charts/variables dedicated to this one specific undefined opportunity (the original PennyStocking DVD doesn’t have intraday charts, huuuuge improvement!)
ABCW jumped basically from $2 to $3 in the final hour Friday, definite potential short
AHC jumped from $1.8 to $2.50 over the same time period, huuuuge volume
CAV has the same exact pattern, $1 to $2 in the last half hour on nearly a million shares traded.
CHRS jumped $2 to $2.75 on 1 million shares, no folks the stock market ain’t random
EVC 75 cents to $1.50, not as much of a spike as last time I shorted, but just the same as all these others.
FTBK surged $3.25 to $4, but afterhours suspended their dividend so this’ll drop too quickly for me to get into, wish these companies would off their blatantly-failing PRs until AFTER I can short
GVHR same exact pattern, $1.50 to $2.50, volume 1.6 million shares.
HSNI is a perfect short squeeze, $1.5 to $5.5 in the past few days with the nice Friday afternoon squeeze to boot, this is my top potential short.
IFC surged $1.25 to $2.50 in the last half hour, not random folks! LBY $1.1 to $1.9, 1.3 million volume
MNC 50 cents to $1.50 on volume of 2.8 million
RUS is a carcas of a retailer, now up from $1 to $3.50 in a few days, beware it’s like RVI and won’t crack!
RVI just keeps going, I’m not tempted to short at all as the stock has proven it can and will fake people out as it surges higher…that PS2 DVD also focuses on patterns that shouldn’t be shorted, this is fast becoming one of those due to its news and price action
TUES jumped $1.7 to $2.50….yes, just another potential short today
