POWRtec develops energy management solutions, including networked and broadband metering products. Pro forma revenue for 2009 is expected to come in at around $8.5M.
Competing companies listed for trading in the U.S. market include Echelon (ELON), Itron (ITRI), and ABB Ltd. (ABB). POWRtec's products include a built-in communication interface (WiFi, WiMAX, Ethernet, etc.) and real-time data with the ability to measure very low loads, allowing customers to bill at low load levels.
MultiXtor is a provider of flash memory storage in the form of FlashCard (PCI Express Card) and FlashBox (Server with several FlashCards) to compete with DRAM. Differentiating features include random I/O performance which is the same as sequential and write performance which is the same as read.
