Commercial Metals Declares Quarterly Cash Dividend

The board of directors of Commercial Metals Company (NYSE: CMC) has declared a quarterly cash dividend of twelve cents per share on common stock to stockholders of record April 3, 2009. The dividend will be paid April 17, 2009.

This is the 178th consecutive quarterly cash dividend paid by Commercial Metals Company.

CTS Corporation Declares Quarterly Dividend

Designer and manufacturer of electronic components and sensors CTS Corporation (NYSE: CTS) has declared the first quarter dividend of $0.03 per share, payable May 1, 2009, to shareholders of record at the close of business on March 27, 2009.

Heinz Declares Quarterly Dividend

The H. J. Heinz Company’s (NYSE:HNZ) Board of Directors has declared quarterly dividends on both common and preferred stock.

The Heinz Board declared 41.5 cents per share on the company’s 25 cent par value common stock payable on April 10, 2009 to shareholders of record at the close of business on March 24, 2009.

And 42.5 cents per share on the company’s Third Cumulative Preferred Stock, $1.70 First Series, payable April 1, 2009 to shareholders of record at the close of business on March 24, 2009.

Medicis Declares Cash Dividend

Independent specialty pharmaceutical company Medicis’s (NYSE:MRX) Board of Directors has declared a quarter-end cash dividend of $0.04 per issued and outstanding share of its common stock payable on April 30, 2009, to stockholders of record at the close of business on April 1, 2009.

Staples First Quarter 2009 Cash Dividend

Office products company Staples (Nasdaq: SPLS) said that its Board of Directors has declared a quarterly cash dividend on its common stock of $0.0825 per share. The dividend is payable on April 16, 2009, to shareholders of record on March 27, 2009.

On an annualized basis, the quarterly dividend is equal to the $0.33 per share annual cash dividend that the company paid in 2008.
