The next market session will close:

One of the most popular show’s on CNBC is Closing Bell hosted by Maria Bartiromo.  Each day they recap the trading day just ended and go over any important earnings announcements that are released.  Today, the blockbuster earnings report came from Research in Motion (RIMM) who beat analysts expectations on earnings and revenue was great and the issued a  very rosy outlook.  That was a great sign for a company that was down more than 66% from its highs last summer, and the shares surged more than 20% after hours.

Check out the graph to the right to see all stocks mentioned on Thursday’s Closing Bell.  As you can see, they certainly cover some ground.  Also, I just had to mention this from yesterday’s Closing Bell brought a hilarious mishap from Domino’s Pizza (DPZ) to light.  Somehow, the market didn’t seem to mind as the stock was up about 5.5% Thursday.

“All right, finally tonight, talk about a costly promo. Domino’s Pizza giving away 11,000 free pizzas this week by mistake. On Monday, a consumer discovers through a trial and error process that typing in bailout as a coupon code on Domino’s gives a free pie…” CNBC’s Closing Bell on Wednesday, April 01, 2009

Mr. by G. N. Altieri
Your guest today Mr. Angelidas, from California pontificated on how he was going to "discover the truth..." get the "facts on the table.." about the melt down of the ecomomy.
You didn't ask him if he was going to carefully examine the Fanny Mae a nd Freddy mac outrageous bonuses, over $100 million, paid to the three officers of both companies based on their production of new mortgaqges. Is he also going to examine the people in the Congress who fed this beast and their bonuses by insisting that everyone regardless of their ability to pay or whether they even had a job or not to get a mortgage.
I assure you that ther only "fac6s" that he will examine will be of the evil corporations.
Dodd just finished trashing them a few minutes ago on your show.
