PIMCO kicked off the month of November with the launch of two new ETFs yesterday (11/02/2009). PIMCO 3-7 Year U.S. Treasury Index ETF (FIVZ) is designed to capture the return of the bellwether 5-year Treasury note. PIMCO 25+ Year Zero Coupon U.S. Treasury Index ETF (ZROZ) is designed to capture the return of long-term U.S. Treasury Principal STRIPS.

1,000th ETF Hits The Tape | Mon, November 2nd, 2009

The world of exchange-traded funds passed a milestone today (November 2, 2009) with the listing of the 1,000th product in the US. The quantity of 1,000 includes a combination of 903 ETFs and 97 ETNs.



ETF Stats for October 2009 | Mon, November 2nd, 2009

Eleven new ETFs and one new ETN were launched in October. No products were delisted. This net increase of 12 brings the official count of active listings at the end of October to 880: 796 ETFs and 84 ETNs.
