Encouraging corporate profits helped the US market to recover from the Egyptian crisis. During the current trading session, several companies declared their quarterly and dividend, giving a boost to the investors' confidence.

Gold Resource Corporation (NYSE: GORO) declared a special cash dividend of $0.03 per common share, payable on February 14, 2011. Shares of the company were down 2.52 percent or $0.59 to $22.81 in the morning.

Shares of Telefonica SA (NYSE: TEF) added 1.94 percent or $0.48 as the company declares to hike its dividend to 1.89 euros per share in 2014.

Cincinnati Financial Corporation (NASDAQ: CINF) announced a regular quarterly cash dividend of 40 cents per share, payable on April 15, 2011 to shareholders as of record on March 23, 2011. Shares of the company gained 0.44 percent or $0.14 to $32.30 after the news.

United Online Inc. (NASDAQ: UNTD) plans to pay a quarterly cash dividend of $0.10 per share, payable on February 28, 2011 to shareholders of record on February 14, 2011. Shares of the company added 0.56 percent or $0.04 to $7.12 in the morning trading.

Shares of Marathon Oil Corporation (NYSE: MRO) were up 0.65 percent or $0.29 to $45.05 as the company declared a dividend of 25 cents per share, payable on March 10, 2011 to shareholders of record on February 16, 2011.

Connecticut Water Services Inc. (NASDAQ: CTWS) declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.2325 per common share, payable on March 15, 2011 to shareholders of record on March 1, 2011. Shares of the company were trading at $24.51, up 0.47 percent or $0.12 during the midday trading.

Wabtec Corporation (NYSE: WAB) decided to pay a regular quarterly dividend of 1 cent per share, payable on February 28, 2011 to shareholders of record on February 14, 2011. Shares of the company were up 0.92 percent or $0.49 to $53.66.

Regis Corporation (NYSE: RGS) plans to hike its quarterly dividend by 50 percent to 6 cents per share, payable on February 24, 2011 to shareholders on record on February 10, 2011. Shares of the company added 0.53 percent or $0.09 to $16.94 after the news.

Shares of Eldorado Gold Corporation Limited (NYSE: EGO) were down 2.07 percent or $0.34 to $16.07 despite the company declaring a dividend of 5 Canadian cents per outstanding share, payable on February 25, 2011 to shareholders on record on February 11, 2011.

Enerplus Corporation (NYSE: ERF) announces a cash dividend of Canadian$0.18 per share, payable on February 20, 2011 to shareholders of record on February 10, 2011. Shares of the company were up 1.57 percent or $0.50 to $32.30. Entergy Corporation (NYSE: ETR) declares to pay a quarterly dividend of 83 cents per share, payable on March 1, 2011 to shareholders of record on February 10, 2011. Shares of the company gained 0.21 percent or $0.15 to $72.22 during the morning trading.
