BRIEF: Dallas Police Search for Man Wanted in Two Oak Cliff Gas Station Robberies

Oct. 10--Dallas police are searching for a man who may have robbed two gas stations within a mile of each other in Oak Cliff this afternoon, authorities said.

According to police dispatchers, a black man in his mid 20s who was wearing a light blue shirt and a baseball cap walked into a Shell gas station in the 600 block of W. Davis Street about 4:40 p.m. today and robbed the store at gunpoint.

Then, a man matching the same description robbed a Valero gas station in the 200 block of S. Beckley Ave. about 30 minutes later.

No one was injured in either incident, but the man is believed to have stolen some items at both locations.

Police helicopters are searching the area for the suspect.
