Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa To Be Released Into IMAX(R) Theatres On November 7, 2008
LOS ANGELES, May 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - IMAX Corporation(NASDAQ:IMAX; TSX:IMX) and DreamWorks Animation SKG, Inc. (NYSE:DWA) todayannounced an agreement to release Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa into IMAX(R)theatres worldwide on November 7, 2008. The agreement completes IMAX'sintegration into DreamWorks Animation's release strategy for the studio's nextfive theatrical releases from June 2008 to May 2010.
Under the terms of the agreement, Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa will bedigitally re-mastered into the unparalleled image and sound quality of TheIMAX Experience(R) and play for a special release in IMAX theatres, includingselect new IMAX(R) Digital theatres, which will begin rolling out this summer.
