and operational consulting services, today announced that Dr. Richard J.
Messina will serve as a consultant to the Company’s
Higher Education practice as it assists university clients with
strategic planning efforts to improve their academic viability and
financial stability.

During more than three decades as a management consultant, Dr. Messina
has served a broad range of enterprises, including many educational,
not-for-profit, and scientific organizations. Since 1986, he has been
president of the management consulting firm Messina & Graham, which
helps clients develop and implement successful strategies, design high
performance organizations, and improve operations. Earlier in his
career, he was with McKinsey & Company for nearly a decade, providing
counsel to the senior executives of major corporations in several
industries. Recently, Dr. Messina worked with a prominent Southern
university in a two-year strategic planning effort where he advised
their Board of Trustees. Dr. Messina received his BS from Boston
College, his MBA at Dartmouth's Tuck School and a PhD in physics at
Dartmouth College.
