Nuance Communications (NASDAQ: NUAN) and its Tegic subsidiary today
announced that they have filed a patent infringement lawsuit against Zi
Corporation (TSX: ZIC and NASDAQ: ZICA) in the Federal Court in Toronto,
Canada. In the Statement of Claim, Nuance and Tegic assert that Zi’s
Qix and eZiText products infringe Tegic’s

seeking damages from Zi’s infringement as well
as a judgment enjoining Zi’s further
infringement.
