Sep. 5--The price of North Slope oil sold on West Coast open markets closed today at $105.53 a barrel, down $1.66 for the day.

U.S. natural gas, at the Lower 48's Henry Hub, was $7.39 per million BTU today, up $0.16.

Gold closed at $797.60 per ounce today on the New York Mercantile Exchange, down $.30.

Zinc closed at $0.8531 per pound today, up 3.85 cents.
