Sep. 6--Four people were injured in a two-vehicle crash near Central City this morning, the Linn County Sheriff's Office reported.
A pickup driven by Brian Rose, 22, of Springville and a sport-utility vehicle driven by Nicholas Christensen, 29, of Central City, collided at 10:34 a.m. near the intersection of Drexler Road and Brown Road, northwest of Central City.
Rose was extricated from the pickup and flown by helicopter to University Hospitals for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. Christensen and two children in his vehicle, each believed to be under the age of 10, were taken to St. Luke's Hospital, also with non-life threatening injuries.
The Linn County Sheriff's Office was assisted at the scene by the Northeast Linn Ambulance Service and fire departments from Central City, Coggon and Prairieburg.
