POZEN Inc. (NASDAQ: POZN), announced today that the
company, together with a matching contribution from the Plachetka Family
Fund of Triangle Community Foundation, have donated a total of $70,000
to Habitat for Humanity of Orange County (HHOC) (www.orangehabitat.org)
for the construction of a Habitat home in Hillsborough, North Carolina.
The Habitat team, consisting of POZEN employees who are volunteering
their time, will raise the walls on the Habitat home with a
groundbreaking ceremony at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 13, 2008.

officer of Glaxo and one of my co-founders of POZEN, taught me to give
back to the community and to be a good corporate citizen,”
said Dr. John R. Plachetka, POZEN’s chairman,
president and chief executive officer. “In
that spirit, we are pleased to work with HHOC on this project.”
