Salesgenie.com (an infoGROUP(TM) company [NASDAQ: IUSA]), the leading provider of online solutions for sales effectiveness management announced today that subscribers can now improve planning and efficiency for business-to-consumer (B2C) and business-to- business (B2B) sales calls through new sales lead mapping capabilities. The new mapping features, available now to subscribers of Salesgenie.com, allows sales agents and account executives to optimize their sales time, helping them quickly locate not only their current prospects, but also find other opportunities when traveling or working outside the office.
"By incorporating Google Maps API Premier, Salesgenie.com is providing a useful and user-friendly productivity tool for sales professionals," says Dan Israel, Google Product Marketing Manager. "Google MapsTM returns fast, relevant, accurate results that users can count on; together with the sales lead data from Salesgenie.com, it simplifies the work for sales people of locating and getting to prospects."
The new features make it quick and easy to organize sales calls to reach quality prospects. Once users identify their targeted sales leads, either through customer target profiles or in a specific search, the sales leads can be quickly mapped providing a view of their locations. By highlighting a specific sales lead on the map, the sale professional has instant access to the details of the prospect including photos, profile information such as company size and demographic information for consumers. The maps can be used to visually identify clusters of sales prospects, view the locations of previously identified customer opportunities, and print out maps highlighting addresses for a sales trip. Also, the standard interactive features of Google MapsTM can be used such as driving directions to guide sales professionals from one prospect to the next.
"In sales, quality information with easy access is key to efficiency," said Mark Israelsen, President of Salesgenie.com. "We chose to partner with Google because of its combination of quality information and familiar, easy-to-use maps.
