Russian, Iranian Diplomats Discuss Prospects of Bilateral Relations

Oct 1 (Interfax) - Russia and Iran will continue to expand their cooperation in bilateral and international affairs, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexey Borodavkin and Iranian Ambassador Gholamreza Ansari, who is to finish his diplomatic mission in Russia soon, said at a meeting on Wednesday.

The diplomats praised "the high level of bilateral ties, which serve as a factor of sustaining stability in the region and help solve acute international problems."

"Russia and Iran stressed their readiness to increase cooperation in bilateral, regional and international affairs," the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a report.
