Search Technologies Corporation, a leading international provider and integrator of enterprise-search software and services, announced today that the company has earned certified status in Microsoft's Partner Program, which recognizes Search Technologies' expertise with Microsoft technologies and proven ability to meet customer needs.

"The benefits provided through our certified membership will allow us to continue to enhance offerings that we provide customers," said Kamran Khan, Search Technologies President and Chief Executive Officer. "We are positioned to deliver valuable enterprise search products and services to organizations of all sizes using either Microsoft SharePoint or FAST Search & Transfer platforms."

"Only companies that have demonstrated high levels of customer service, proved their experience and attained advanced certification receive the designation of Microsoft Certified Partner," said Allison Watson, Corporate Vice President of Worldwide Partner Group at Microsoft Corp. "Today, Microsoft recognizes Search Technologies for its skills and expertise in providing customer satisfaction with Microsoft products and technology."

In addition to certification, Search Technologies has obtained a Microsoft Competency in Information Worker Solutions, one of 17 designations that signal a company's expertise in helping customers realize increased service revenues and new market opportunities. Within that Competency, Search Technologies has gained two Specializations in Search and Portals & Collaboration.

Search Specialization partners deliver "...solutions that provide highly relevant results to the right people and processes -- and can be easily maintained, safely utilized, and quickly scaled to meet search needs across the entire enterprise," according to the Microsoft Partner Program web site. Partners with Portals & Collaboration Specialization status help customers with multiple offices share files, coordinate activities and "...manage critical information in a simple, familiar interface that yields a consistent user experience.

A 40-person firm founded in the U.S. in 2005, Search Technologies serves commercial, government and education customers in the U.S., Europe and Asia from offices in North and Central America and the U.K. The company was named FAST Search Partner of the Year for 2006. Microsoft augmented its enterprise search capabilities with its April 2008 acquisition of Norway-based FAST Search & Transfer.

"Our commercial and public sector customers benefit from working with a single vendor offering search solutions that span the full range of their needs," Khan said.

Search Technologies is the expert at making search software and systems work better and faster, increasing revenue for e-Commerce sites, enhancing customer productivity and improving returns on information-technology investments.
