Honeywell estimates the potential value of this agreement at more than $4 billion over the life of the program.
The HTF7000, introduced in 2003, has more than 450,000 hours on the fleet and more than 400 engines in service. The engine is the benchmark of performance and reliability in the 7,000 pound thrust class, with no in flight shutdowns after nearly five years in service.

'Reliability and low cost of operation is a key requirement in today's business jet environment, and Gulfstream operators will appreciate the world-class reliability and fuel economy the HTF7250 will deliver for G250 operators, while helping them control maintenance and operation costs.'
'The HTF7250G also incorporates new green technology into the HTF7000 family with the latest in Honeywell's low emissions SABRE combustor technology to reduce NOx, CO and HC emissions,' said Brian Sill, Vice President of Gulfstream programs for Honeywell.
