Citi today issued the following update on its transaction with Wachovia:
At the time the Wachovia/Wells Fargo & Co. transaction was announced,
Citi and Wachovia had agreed and were simply finalizing documents. On
Sunday night, October 5, Citi delivered an executed copy of its
agreement with Wachovia to Wachovia’s counsel.
