Oct. 6--KUWAIT -- Are you fed up of your dial-up Internet connection? For the first time in the Middle East, Zain, the country's leading telecommunication provider, launched its latest groundbreaking device 'e-GO2GO'. It provides data transfer and mobile Internet connection services to customers without having to depend on a land-based-telephone. It also offers the 'pay as you use' or prepaid option. The service will cater to the needs of customers who do not wish to pay monthly bills.
The device, e-GO2GO, can be purchased for KD 40 from any of Zain's authorized dealers in Kuwait from today. "To avail of the e-GO2GO services, customers only have to buy the device, insert their Zain ezee SIM card and top up their credit with Zain's Eezee-recharge card available from KD 1.5 up to KD20," said Khaled Al-Omar, Chief Operations Officer during a press conference held at the company's headquarters in Shuwaikh yesterday.
According to Al-Omar, the e-GO2GO will offer customers an easy plug-and -play USB device that offers true mobility with high speed internet connectivity, with the convenience of cost control and peace of mind associated with a prepaid account.
A KD 1.5 internet recharge card will offer customers up to 24 hours service. If you recharge with an additional KD 1.5, the number of service time will depend on the validity of the recharge card. The KD 20 recharge card, for example, offers a one-year- validity. Every 24 hours used, is only charged by KD1.5," he said.
Al-Omar added that e-GO2GO is a device that offers very high speed connectivity. "Speed connectivity is quite high. This depends on whether you are located near the station base," he said.
The launch of e-GO2GO comes as a new step forward in the direction of Zain's constant commitment to offer unlimited data transfer and Internet connection services to all its customers, including the prepaid services.
Zain has always been committed to offering innovative services to its customers with the aim of meeting all their needs. This new product comes in line with this commitment," Al-Omar added.
Yesterday's meeting was also attended by Zain's Marketing Director Shafeeq Sayeed Omar who reaffirmed the company's commitment toward delivering innovative products such as e-GO2GO to all of Zain's customers and subscribers.
