Bank of America Begins Common Stock Offering

Bank of America expects the offering to include an option to purchase approximately 15 percent of the final offering in additional shares of common stock. The transaction is being conducted as a public offering registered under the Securities Act of 1933.

Banc of America Securities LLC and Merrill Lynch & Co. will serve as joint bookrunners for the offering.
