Oct. 6--ALBANY A Central Avenue bank has been robbed for the second time in just over a week.City police are investigating a 10:20 a.m. robbery today at the Trustco Bank at 163 Central Ave., said police spokesman Detective James Miller.
According to Miller, a man came into the bank, said he had a weapon but did not display it, and left on foot with an undetermined amount of money.
Police have yet to release a description of the suspect.
On Friday, Sept. 26, at about the same time in the morning, a man fled the same bank with cash. That man handed the teller a note saying he had a gun, according to Miller. The teller complied, and the suspect fled on foot. Police said it was too early to tell if the crimes are related.
