Oct. 6--ALBANY -- Attorney General Andrew Cuomo released another set of settlements in pension abuses cases -- this time with Cornelia Cahill and John Sise. Cahill, who is married to Court of Claims Judge Richard Sise, was found to have been improperly enrolled in the state pension system when she was a lawyer with the Girvin & Ferlazzo law firm. She was listed as a labor specialist for the Hamilton Fulton Montgomery BOCES but didn't actually perform work there.

Cahill's brother-in-law John Sise, Cuomo found, also had improperly listed himself as a BOCES lawyer while at Girvin & Ferlazzo in order to circumvent a waiting period to get Siena College pension credits, as he was in the process of moving from the law firm to the college.
