Oct. 10--Fayetteville police are searching for a man they think robbed a CVS on Bragg Boulevard on Sunday.
Police have a warrant for 44-year-old Harold Ronald Davis. He is accused of grabbing a handful of money from an open register and leaving the business, spokeswoman Theresa Chance said.
A similar method was used to rob as many as 11 other businesses in the last two weeks, including Walgreen's, CVS, Rite-Aid, Family Dollar, Big Lots and Food Lion stores, Chance said.
Davis was identified by a former girlfriend after she viewed footage taken from the CVS robbery, Chance said.
Davis is about 6 feet 1 inch tall, weighs about 230 pounds and has brown eyes and a short beard and mustache.
In most of the robberies, the robber was wearing a blue jean jacket and was driving a 2005 silver Ford 500, Chance said.
Anyone with information on Davis' whereabouts is asked to contact Detective Kellie Berg at 433-2315. To leave information anonymously, contact CrimeStoppers at 483-8477.
