BISHKEK. Oct 10 (Interfax) - Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has said he plans to hold a conference on supporting the real sector of the Russian economy.
"In the nearest future I am planning to hold a conference on financial support for individual sectors of the economy," he told Russian journalists in Bishkek.
"Earlier we spoke of supporting the financial system but we should not be forgetting about the real sector either," he said.
"We have had good growth and we have no right to lose it, lose the opportunities created in the real sector over the past few years," Medvedev said.
He noted that other countries are doing the same.
