Grand Junction rounds out four new Colorado destinations for Frontier
DENVER, May 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- At exactly 8:47 a.m. MDT thismorning, Frontier Airlines began service to its fourth Colorado market, GrandJunction. The flight arrived in Grand Junction early at 9:31 a.m., bringingaffordable air travel to the Western Slope. Grand Junction is the fourth ofseven new regional markets Frontier announced in February, all of which areshorter-haul markets, better suited to leveraging the economics of the 74-seatBombardier Q400. A fleet of ten Q400 aircraft are operated for Frontier byFrontier Airlines Holdings, Inc. subsidiary Lynx Aviation.
