DALSA's Vision Appliances are equipped with two distinct styles ofapplication interface software to accommodate the differing needs andexperience of users. iNspect software is ideal for both first time andexperienced vision users alike; it offers excellent inspection capabilitiesthat can be readily applied across a multitude of applications. Forexperienced vision integrators, DALSA offers Sherlock software with moreadvanced capabilities.
With the introduction of iNspect Color, this breakthrough machine visioninspection tool adds support for color processing, as well as extensive newinspection capabilities. iNspect Color provides the ability tosegment images by color such that all of the standard measurement tools canbe applied to the inspection task, including verification, sorting andinspection of parts and assemblies.
Typical color applications include:

Similarly,multi-camera display and statistical trend plots are now available on theoperator interface.

For more complex applications,iNspect's script-like programming interface has been expanded to offermaximum flexibility when needed. Likewise, for OEMs or system integrators,iNspect now offers extensive network commands for program integration.
