Liberty Property Trust and Comcast Celebrate the Grand Opening of Comcast Center

Liberty Property Trust:

WHAT:		Liberty Property Trust (NYSE:LRY) and Comcast will celebrate the grand opening of Philadelphia's newest icon - Comcast Center - on the evening of Friday, June 6. With a ceremony and reception that will include Liberty Chairman and CEO Bill Hankowsky and SVP of Urban Development John Gattuso; Comcast Chairman and CEO Brian Roberts and founder Ralph Roberts; and design architect Robert A.M. Stern, the 975' high, 58-floor office building will officially take its place in the Philadelphia skyline.

WHO:		The invitation-only event will include remarks by Hankowsky, Gattuso, Brian Roberts and Stern. More than 500 guests from Philadelphia and beyond are expected at the reception.

WHERE:		Comcast Center Winter Garden (lobby level) -- JFK Blvd., between 17^th & 18^th Streets.

WHEN:		6:30 p.m. reception and 7:15 p.m. remarks

BACKGROUND:		Liberty Property Trust announced it would develop a high performance office tower on the site in May 2001, and development commenced in 2005 when Comcast Corporation chose the property for its new corporate headquarters. Developed to achieve LEED certification, the majestic glass tower includes a myriad of energy saving and environmentally responsible elements. The general contractor is L.F. Driscoll. Other tenants in the building include Citizens Bank, The Judge Group, Godiva and the newest George Perrier-Chris Scarduzio restaurant, Table 31.
