Radiology and medical image company Amicas Inc. (NASDAQ-NMS:AMCS) (AMCS) on Tuesday said it swung to a second-quarter loss of $480,000, or a penny a share, from a year- earlier profit of $319,000, or a penny a share.
The company's latest quarterly loss matched analysts' estimates, based on a Thomson Financial poll.
Revenue rose slightly to $12.5 million from $12.2 million.
For 2007, the Boston company still expects to post a loss of 1 cent to 6 cents a share on revenue of $51 million to $55 million. Analysts expect a loss of 2 cents on revenue of $52.1 million.
