Hartford Financial Services Group Inc. (NYSE:HIG) (HIG) named Connie Weaver senior vice president, marketing and communications.

Hartford Financial Services Group Inc. (NYSE:HIG) (HIG) said Connie Weaver joins the company from BearingPoint Inc. (NYSE:BE) (BE), where she was chief marketing officer and executive vice president.

Weaver will also serve as a member of the company's office of the chairman.
