Ballard Power Systems Inc. (NASDAQ-NMS:BLDP) (BLDP) signed a three-year supply agreement to provide its Mark1020 ACS fuel cell product for integration into IdaTech plc's (LSE:IDA) ( IDA.LN) next generation 250 watt iGen power supply.

The value of the agreement wasn't disclosed.

The Vancouver fuel cell products manufacturer said the supply agreement will generate about 100 fuel cell product unit shipments in the first year, with potential for more than 1,000 units over the full term of the agreement.

The iGen fuel cell power supply is designed as an auxiliary power unit for a variety of applications, potentially including recreational vehicles and telecommunications backup power.
