Crystal River Capital Inc. (NYSE:CRZ) (CRZ) Thursday named Craig Laurie chief financial officer to replace Barry Sunshine, who resigned to pursue other interests.

The New York-based real estate investment trust said Laurie most recently served as chief financial officer of Brookfield Properties Corp. (NYSE:BPO) (BPO).
