Crown Media Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ-NMS:CRWN) (CRWN) said it renewed its distribution agreement for the Hallmark Channel with Cablevision Systems Corp. (NYSE:CVC) (CVC), a Bethpage, N.Y., entertainment and telecommunications company.

Financial terms weren't provided.

The Studio City, Calif., owner and operator of Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movie Channel said Cablevision will also have the right to distribute the Standard Definition and High Definition versions of the Hallmark Movie Channel.

Shares of Crown Media (NASDAQ-NMS:CRWN) closed Monday up 13 cents, or 2.9%, at $4.64.

Cablevision shares closed Monday up 27 cents, or 1%, at $23.20.
