CARACAS -(Dow Jones)- Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez said Thursday that he didn't have plans to nationalize any more companies.
"At this time, I don't have plans to nationalize anything else," Chavez said in televised remarks after a press conference.
His government recently announced the nationalization of the cement industry, affecting Mexican giant Cemex (NYSE:CX) (CX). It also seized control of Sidor, the country's largest steel mill, which was majority-owned by Luxemburg-based Ternium SA (NYSE:TX) (TX).
