Vignette Corp. (NASDAQ-NMS:VIGN) (VIGN) reached an agreement to acquire Vidavee, a video Web services provider, for about $6.6 million in cash.

Under the agreement, Vignette, an Austin, Texas, software maker, will offer Vidavee's video publishing technologies.

Shares of Vignette closed Tuesday down 58 cents, or 4.63%, at $11.94.
