Citizens Communications Company (NYSE: CZN) announced today that it continues to take steps to eradicate child pornography on the Internet. Since 2004, Frontier has not offered or provided Internet access to newsgroups that contain photographs or images involving child pornography. Within the next few days, Frontier intends to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and, within 30 days, to begin blocking access to child pornography websites identified by NCMEC that are hosted on Frontier’s servers.
