Appoints Senior Vice President in Northeast Region and Development Project Manager
DENVER, Colo., Aug. 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- DCT Industrial Trust Inc.
(NYSE: DCT), a leading industrial real estate investment trust, today
announced two appointments within its Capital Deployment team.
Thomas Tucci has been appointed Senior Vice President and will be
responsible for all development and investment activity in the Northeast
region and is based in New Jersey.
Mr. Tucci has more than 30 years of industrial real estate experience in
the Northeast. Most recently, he served as Senior Managing Director for the
New York Tri-State Industrial Group at CB Richard Ellis (CBRE) where he
oversaw leasing and sales brokerage services to tenants and owners. Prior to
joining CBRE, Mr. Tucci spent more than 25 years in real estate development
and also served as a Mayor and Councilman in the borough of Moonachie, N.J.
'Tom's extensive knowledge of the Northeast market, his development
experience, and his breadth of relationships make him an ideal complement to
our investment team,' said Jim Cochran, President and Chief Investment Officer
of DCT Industrial. 'His expertise will enable DCT to expand our presence
efficiently in some of our most dynamic markets, including New Jersey, Central
Pennsylvania and the Washington D.C./Baltimore corridor.'
Mark Erler has also joined the team as Vice President, Development Project
Manager based in Atlanta, Georgia. He will be responsible for managing all
development projects in the United States.
Mr. Erler brings more than 10 years of commercial real estate development
experience. Prior to joining DCT Industrial, he served as Development Manager
for Panattoni Development Company where he managed the development and
marketing of industrial and office properties, acquired and repositioned
industrial and office assets, and marketed industrial land for development.
