Specialty retailer launches rollout of HD Radio receiver models in stores, online and in catalogue

Expanded retail presence to be promoted in next phases of HD Digital Radio Alliance's $250 million ad campaign

SAN FRANCISCO and ORLANDO, Fla., Feb. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- The HD Digital Radio Alliance, a joint initiative of radio broadcasters to accelerate consumer adoption of HD digital radio, and Sharper Image Corporation (Nasdaq: SHRP), a specialty retailer known as a leading source of new, innovative, high-quality products, today announced the launch of HD digital radio products in over 188 Sharper Image stores nationwide, as well as online and on the cover of the company's celebrated catalogue. The retailer's move will be heavily promoted in the Alliance's $250 million 2007 ad campaign, announced in December.

The Sangean receiver is available online and will be in stores beginning in April. In addition, the Boston Acoustics Receptor Radio HD will be on the cover of the company's latest catalogue, widely regarded as the 'Bible' for cutting-edge lifestyle products by the millions of consumers who receive it annually. The Sangean model retails for $249.95, the Boston Acoustics for $299.95.
