FirstFlight, Inc. (OTC BB: FFLT) a charter management and aviation
services company, is pleased to announce that another Gulfstream has
joined its fleet of managed aircraft. This GIV model is based in Van
Nuys, California and is the first added to the Company’s
recently announced West Coast Division.
FirstFlight will initially manage the aircraft under Federal Aviation
Regulations (FAR) Part 91, through which the Company will provide
support for the owner’s use of the aircraft.
Charter operations under FAR Part 135 will be introduced on an expedited
basis to provide the benefits of charter revenue for the owner as well
as to serve FirstFlight’s growing West Coast
charter clientele.
This GIV is configured for 12 passengers and comfortably sleeps six.
With a range exceeding 4,800 miles at speeds up to 575 mph, the aircraft
performs well on both international and cross-country trips. The
aircraft has a full range of passenger amenities that make it very
attractive for charter.
“We are very encouraged by the addition of
this GIV to our fleet,” stated John Dow,
FirstFlight’s president and CEO. “Two
months ago we announced that Richard Hodkinson was opening our new West
Coast Division and today we have our first large cabin aircraft based in
Van Nuys. I’m confident that under Richard’s
leadership our west coast fleet will continue to grow and we will become
a strong presence in this important market.”
FirstFlight’s West Coast Division president,
Richard Hodkinson added, “Our ability to
immediately offer first-class customer facilities at the Castle & Cooke
aviation facility, as well as hangar space, attractive fuel rates and
aircraft maintenance were important factors in attracting this
world-class GIV to our management. Personalized customer service
provided by our West Coast-based team of experienced, dedicated
professionals combined with the resources and experience of our
established company is our competitive advantage and one of the primary
reasons we will develop a lasting relationship with this client and
attract additional aircraft as the word spreads.”
FirstFlight, one of the leading Gulfstream operators in the Northeast,
has a growing presence in the Southeast and now the west coast. In
addition to the Gulfstreams, the Company provides charter and management
services for Challenger, Falcon, Hawker, Lear and other executive jet
aircraft. Visit the FirstFlight website at www.fflt.com
